Triangula ("we", "us", "our") operates the website triangula.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

• Photos you select. Your photo is read and processed locally in your browser. The image file and its base64 representation are not sent to our server or AI text providers.
• Derived reading data. The browser sends face-shape, nose-shape and mouth-width categories, smile and asymmetry indicators, numerical face measurements, and your twelve questionnaire answers to our server. Raw facial landmark coordinates are not included in these requests. For a downloadable report, the browser also sends your archetype, dimension scores, confidence, displayed reading text and derived face measurements, plus a license key if provided.
• Email delivery. If you request an email, the browser sends your email address, archetype, dimension scores, displayed reading text and derived face measurements to our server.
• Usage data. We collect standard analytics data such as pages visited, time on site, and device type to improve our service.
• Payment information. Payments are processed by Gumroad. We do not store your credit card or payment details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your personality compatibility report.
• To process transactions and deliver purchased content.
• To improve and maintain our service.
• To respond to support inquiries.

3. Photo Processing, Derived Data and Storage

The selected photo is used in your browser for preview, face detection and measurement. It is not uploaded for server-side processing, and our application does not write it to the server database. This applies to the photo itself, not to the derived data used to produce your reading.

Our server uses derived face measurements and questionnaire answers to calculate your archetype and dimension scores. To generate the written reading, it may send your archetype, dimension scores and face-shape, nose-shape and mouth-width categories, together with predefined archetype descriptions, to DeepInfra or DeepSeek. The current text-generation requests do not include the photo, raw landmark coordinates, individual questionnaire answers or your email address.

If you request email delivery, our server sends your email address and the generated report content to Resend. The email content includes your archetype, dimension scores, written reading, career suggestions and compatibility information. The server regenerates the reading text rather than using the displayed text submitted by the browser.

Our Cloudflare D1 database stores reading-event records containing the archetype, confidence, timestamp, device category, traffic source, referring hostname and country. Following a successful email request, the application also writes a customer record containing your email address, archetype, dimension scores, any supplied license key and timestamps. Purchase notifications can write email, license and product information. The database writes in these flows do not include photos, raw landmark coordinates, full face measurements, individual questionnaire answers or report text.

The server also keeps an in-memory cache of short readings, keyed by archetype, dimension scores and derived face measurements. This cache contains generated text, not photos. We do not specify a fixed deletion period for database records, infrastructure logs or data held by external providers in this policy.

4. Third-Party Services

• Gumroad — payment processing. See their privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, security and the D1 database used for reading-event and customer records. See their privacy policy.
• DeepInfra and DeepSeek — AI text generation using the selected derived reading data described above, when a provider is configured and used. No photo is included in these requests.
• Resend — email delivery using your email address and generated report content when you request an email. No photo is included in the email request.

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies necessary for site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Cloudflare protection, and access controls to safeguard your information.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
